Overview

An Intelligence Officer advises commanders and staffs on intelligence functions and operations while collecting, analyzing, and evaluating information. The officer estimates operational situations, coordinates and executes approved intelligence activities, and oversees unit communications, logistics, maintenance, discipline, welfare, and employment when serving as a commander or officer in charge.
