Overview
A Marine Raider officer organizes, trains, plans, employs, and leads Marine special operations force formations across activities such as direct action, special reconnaissance, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, and foreign internal defense. The officer operates individually or within formations ranging from teams to groups, works in hostile, denied, politically sensitive, isolated, and austere environments, and collaborates with partner nation forces.
