1164 Utilities Systems Technician
Overview
Utilities Systems Technicians install and operate field refrigeration and environmental control units and perform organizational and intermediate repairs using electrical, electronic, and refrigeration principles. They repair electric motors, electronic modules, motor control circuits, power generation equipment, refrigeration equipment, environmental control units, and engineer equipment electrical systems, and they handle and recover HCFCs and CFCs under EPA certification.

What the Work Involves
- Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
