Description
Engineer Equipment Officers are warrant officers who manage and coordinate engineer equipment employment, repair, and advanced manufacturing in support of all engineering and material handling tasks associated with mobility, counter-mobility, general engineering, and logistics operations. They supervise the eight functional areas of maintenance management, as well as oversee establishing field maintenance and equipment staging sites, and procedures for their defense. Engineer Equipment Officers may also perform duties of a special staff officer at the battalion or general staff level, providing advice in equipment employment, material readiness, and qualification/training.
