1803 Assault Amphibian (AA) Officer
Overview
Assault Amphibian Officers command or assist in commanding assault amphibian units and advise supported commanders on their tactical employment. They direct units during maneuvers and combat, coordinate ship to shore movement of assault amphibious vehicles with Navy units, and oversee personnel, equipment readiness, operations, and logistics support.
