Overview
Ordnance Vehicle Maintenance Chiefs supervise the maintenance, repair, and inspection of ground ordnance vehicles and support equipment, and they manage related maintenance programs and facilities. They oversee training, records and reporting, preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment availability, publications control, supply support, and environmental and hazardous waste programs, serve as licensing officers for operators, supervise vehicle recovery, and assist the maintenance officer.
