7242 Air Support Operations Operator
Overview
Air Support Operations Operators process immediate requests for close air support, casualty evacuation, medical evacuation, and assault support while integrating aviation with ground forces and other supporting arms. They coordinate missions involving deep air support, electronic warfare, aerial refueling, and air reconnaissance, and they prepare, move, emplace, and operate air support equipment and tactical data systems.
