Overview
An acoustic intelligence specialist independently advises commanding officers and sonar organizations afloat and ashore while reviewing documentary, aural, and graphical sonar information. The specialist determines the nature and origin of acoustic intelligence, prepares reports and briefings, develops analytic techniques, and provides formal training on acoustic intelligence matters.
