An Integrated Undersea Surveillance System Journeyman supervises the detection, analysis, localization, and reporting of ocean-borne acoustics from FSS and SURTASS sensors. The journeyman performs Target Motion Analysis, develops tracks, correlates multiple sensors, plans missions, and conducts quality assurance and contact reconstruction.

How to prepare: Prepare an unclassified assessment of a foreign naval capability to practice for DIA's writing test and interview. DIA requires U.S. citizenship and a granted security clearance, with background screening, drug testing, and any required medical examination or counterintelligence-scope polygraph.
Multi-sensor correlation, contact localization, and quality assurance transfer to integrating geospatial observations and checking remotely sensed data.
How to prepare: Complete an introductory GIS and remote-sensing course, then build an ArcGIS project that integrates imagery with another geospatial dataset and documents accuracy checks.
