Overview
An LPD 17 Class Engineering Control System Operator uses ECS consoles to align, operate, and monitor main propulsion diesel engines and conduct casualty control procedures. The operator follows EOSS procedures to control the engines locally from the PLCC and remotely from the PACC, with limited supervision in port and underway across all conditions of ship readiness.

What the Work Involves
- Control generator output to match the phase, frequency, or voltage of electricity supplied to panels.
