Overview
A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Technician starts, operates, maintains, and overhauls refrigeration, cooling, and air conditioning equipment that uses centrifugal or reciprocating compressors. This technician identifies abnormal conditions, corrects malfunctions, and recovers and recycles refrigerants in accordance with federal requirements.
