Overview
A cable splicing technician reads and interprets manufacturer drawings to splice and terminate power cables. The technician operates test equipment to locate and repair faults and joins plastic and rubber sheathed cables using straight, branch, tee, and transition splices and terminations for underground systems.

What the Work Involves
