CTI Cryptologic Technician Interpretive
Overview
A cryptologic technician interpretive uses foreign language skills, regional and cultural expertise, and advanced computer systems to collect, process, analyze, and report foreign language communications and digital network information. The technician transcribes, translates, and interprets foreign language materials, provides cultural and regional guidance, manages language programs, and safeguards classified material and information systems.

What the Work Involves
- Follow ethical codes that protect the confidentiality of information.

- Refer to reference materials, such as dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, and computerized terminology banks, as needed to ensure translation accuracy.
