GM Gunner's Mate
Overview
Gunner's Mates operate guided missile launching systems and perform and coordinate organizational and intermediate maintenance on missile launching groups, guns, gun mounts, small arms, torpedoes, and associated handling equipment. They analyze electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical casualties, prepare missiles and torpedoes for firing, and supervise ammunition handling, small arms qualifications, and crews assigned to ordnance equipment.
