Overview

A Navy Tactical Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Specialist supervises and conducts collection operations, including debriefings, interrogations, and elicitations, to obtain intelligence and force protection information. They screen sources and documents, coordinate exploitation of captured enemy documents and open source publications, prepare reports, and manage interpreter and translator operations.

How to prepare: Practice writing and briefing an assessment of foreign military capabilities using public sources to prepare for DIA's writing test and panel interview. DIA requires U.S. citizenship, a security clearance, background screening and a drug test, with medical examinations and a counterintelligence-scope polygraph when required.
