Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Description

Operates and maintains Gamma camera imaging equipment, devices and probes. Administers radiographarmaceuticals via injection, inhalation, and orally to create images of organs and organ systems, to study body functions and flow, analyze biological specimens, and treat disease. Performs diagnostic imaging and radiopharmaceuticals administration through the safe and effective dosing and dosages of radioactive material and assists the medical officer in preparing and conducting various radioactive therapies.
