Overview
Medical Deep Sea Diving Technicians help prevent, recognize, and treat illnesses associated with diving and provide prolonged casualty care, basic life support, advanced life support, and tactical combat casualty care. They serve as inside tenders for recompression chambers, dive using Navy air and mixed-gas apparatuses, and operate, test, repair, and adjust diving equipment, support systems, and recompression chambers.
