Description

Perform, supervise, manage and provide training in Level 1 and 2 Technical Intelligence exploitation. Responsibilities include explosive triage activities; initial tactical and technical categorization of materials of interest; and initial intelligence analysis related to the exploited items. Provide surface and maritime post-blast investigation support for significant events and site exploitation encompassing tactical evaluation of the incident site; identification and collection of components; and forensic and biometric packaging and preserving related tactical Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX). Provides detailed information for Level 1 and Level 2 exploitation reports to characterize foreign material, attribute attacks, develop countermeasures and supports strategic level decision making. Serves in a leadership capacity when assigned to a Technical Exploitation Platoon (TXP) or Advanced eXploitation Platoon (AXP). Possess subject matter expertise in the use, employment and exploitation of various threat systems. Be familiar with Level 3 exploitation processes and the methods to correctly route information to the Intelligence Community from the field.
