Overview
A Master Diver directs and supervises command diving, salvage, ship repair operations, and diving programs, with responsibility for training, equipment, systems, personnel, and operations. The Master Diver manages equipment development and certification, directs treatment of diving-related injuries and recompression chamber operations, oversees underwater inspections, rescue, demolition, and submarine diving systems, and qualifies personnel in diving procedures and equipment.

What the Work Involves
- Take appropriate safety precautions, such as monitoring dive lengths and depths and registering with authorities before diving expeditions begin.
