Description
Special Warfare Boat Operators (SB) conduct maritime Special Operations in contested open ocean, littoral, and riverine environments; provide maritime insertion and extraction of Special Operations Forces (SOF) and others; possess unique skills in the operation, maintenance, and repair of specially configured Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Maritime Craft; operate and maintain various scalable weapons systems, tactical communications equipment, Unmanned Systems (UxS), and use of Joint Force mobility techniques to insert NSW Maritime Craft. Other skills include small boat tactics, ground mobility, call for fires, trauma care, intelligence gathering, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) measures.
