Overview
An LCS-2 Independence Variant Engineering Plant Technician aligns, operates, and monitors propulsion, auxiliary, electrical, damage control, and support systems in port and underway. The technician uses human machine interfaces, control panels, consoles, system diagrams, and the Main Propulsion Control and Monitoring System to perform watch station tasks and casualty control procedures in accordance with the Engineering Operational Sequencing System.

What the Work Involves
