Overview

An overseas shore based cryogenics equipment operator and maintainer operates, tests, inspects, and maintains high and low pressure liquid oxygen and nitrogen generating plants. The technician tests liquids for purity and acetylene contamination, checks compressed gas cylinders, maintains refrigeration systems, compressors, cryogenic generators, vacuum pumps, and distribution systems, and corrects abnormal plant conditions.
