Description

In the absence of the Engineer Officer (EO), ACE or MPA and when designated by the CO, serve as Plant Control Officer and personally supervise the EOOW/PPWO/RCO in proper operation of the plant when getting underway, coming to anchor, underway replenishments and at other times when extra care is required. Assist the EO in all matters pertaining to the welfare, health, job satisfaction, morale and training of the engineering enlisted personnel in order to promote the standards of good order and discipline. Carry out additional duties as specfied in COMNAVSURFORINST 3540.3 (EDORM) series.
