Overview
An LPD 17 Class Engineering Control System Master Maintenance Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance, system alignment, troubleshooting, and fault isolation using Built-in Test and general purpose electronic test equipment. This technician supervises cross functional maintenance teams, coordinates repairs involving the Ship Wide Area Network and other system interfaces, and follows technical manuals and Engineering Operational Sequencing System procedures.
