Description
Performs welding at journey-level proficiency using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) processes, consistent with the general requirements of NAVSEA Technical Publications S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248. Trained in welding safety, QA, metallurgy, joint design, symbology, welder workmanship requirements, and familiarizations with various non-destructive testing methods.
