Overview
An AEGIS MCP 400Hz power conversion maintenance technician operates, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and reconfigures power conversion systems aboard DDG 121 and later AEGIS destroyers. The technician works on PowerMaster converters, current limiting devices, power distribution switchboards, solid state automatic bus transfers, and aircraft electronic servicing systems.

What the Work Involves
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
