Overview
A Navigation Systems Maintenance Technician performs organizational level maintenance on shipboard navigation systems, including the AN/WSN-7, integrated bridge and voyage management systems, AN/WSN-9, and AN/SSN-6. The technician uses online and offline tests, test equipment, and user complaints to isolate problems and take maintenance action while ensuring continuous operation during ship readiness conditions I through V.
