Overview
The IUSS SURTASS Mission Commander directs the safe and effective employment of SURTASS mission equipment, including contact searches and reporting. The commander directs sonar search planning, generates and evaluates TMA solutions, and coordinates with the supported Fleet Battle Watch Captain or Theater Anti-submarine Warfare Officer.
