Overview
An MK-41 VLS Baseline V and VII Operation and Maintenance Technician operates, inspects, and performs organizational-level maintenance on electric-powered guided missile launching systems, missile canister equipment, and ordnance handling maintenance equipment. The technician prepares launcher equipment, loads and unloads gas management equipment and encanistered missiles, and uses authorized procedures and test equipment to isolate faults and replace electrical or mechanical components at the lowest replaceable unit level.
