1C7X1 Airfield Management
Overview
Airfield Management specialists conduct airport safety inspections, coordinate maintenance, oversee pavements and visual navigational aids, and enforce airfield design criteria. They regulate ground operations and driving, oversee construction, follow flights in the National Airspace System, plan aircraft parking, deter wildlife, respond to emergencies, dispatch first responders, and publish advisories.
