25S Satellite Communications Systems Specialist (SATCOM Sys Sp)
Overview
A Satellite Communications Systems Specialist supervises, installs, operates, and maintains tactical through strategic multichannel satellite communications ground terminals, systems, networks, and associated equipment. The specialist works on strategic earth terminal complexes and performs engineering quality control and continuity testing on circuits, trunks, links, systems, and facilities.

What the Work Involves
- Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.
- Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.
