35G Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst
Overview
Geospatial intelligence imagery analysts identify, analyze, and report targets observed in satellite and airborne imagery to support unified land operations. They analyze radar, infrared, moving target indicator, light detection and ranging, spectral imagery, geospatial information, and full motion video while producing intelligence for national, theater, and tactical operations.

What the Work Involves
- Compile data required for map preparation, including aerial photographs, survey notes, records, reports, and original maps.
- Delineate aerial photographic detail, such as control points, hydrography, topography, and cultural features, using precision stereoplotting apparatus or drafting instruments.
- Prepare and alter trace maps, charts, tables, detailed drawings, and three-dimensional optical models of terrain using stereoscopic plotting and computer graphics equipment.
- Check all layers of maps to ensure accuracy, identifying and marking errors and making corrections.
- Produce or update overlay maps to show information boundaries, water locations, or topographic features on various base maps or at different scales.
