948B Electronic Systems Maintenance Warrant Officer
Overview
An Electronic Systems Maintenance Warrant Officer manages the installation, operation, repair, maintenance, and modification of radio, radar, computer, navigation, avionics, communications, cryptographic, and other electronic equipment. The officer inspects faulty equipment, assigns work, schedules maintenance, establishes repair and quality control procedures, manages training and budgets, and advises commanders on equipment capabilities, limitations, procurement, and employment.
