0602 Communications Officer

Overview

A Communications Officer commands or assists in commanding a communication unit or element within the Marine air-ground task force. The officer directs the planning, installation, operation, displacement, and maintenance of network, transmission, and data systems, as well as Department of Defense information operations planning and implementation.

What the Work Involves
