0640 Strategic Electromagnetic Spectrum Officer
Overview
Strategic Electromagnetic Spectrum Officers plan, supervise, manage, and coordinate spectrum use for spectrum dependent systems supporting Marine air ground task forces, joint forces, and coalition forces. They manage frequencies, coordinate host nation approval, oversee spectrum databases, and identify, mitigate, and resolve electromagnetic interference.
