0802 Field Artillery Officer
Overview
Field Artillery Officers command or assist in commanding artillery units and direct their administration, communications, supply, maintenance, security, and tactical employment. They coordinate artillery, mortar, air, and naval surface fire support, evaluate intelligence, conduct targeting, and advise commanders on supporting arms and indirect fire assets.
