7209 Air Command and Control Officer
Overview
An Air Command and Control Officer plans, directs, and coordinates air support missions for MAGTF operations, including deep air support, electronic warfare, aerial refueling, and designated air reconnaissance. This officer processes immediate requests for close air support and evacuations, integrates aviation with other supporting arms, controls aircraft procedurally, and oversees air support equipment and tactical data systems.
