Overview
An Information Systems Technician operates, secures, and maintains information systems, telecommunications equipment, peripheral equipment, and related services. This technician supports network users, restores systems and communication circuits, monitors communication suites, troubleshoots outages, documents support actions, maintains media libraries, and performs preventive and corrective maintenance.

What the Work Involves
- Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
