Overview
Aeronautical welders use shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, and oxy-fuel processes to weld aeronautical equipment and parts at the intermediate maintenance level. They work with aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and nickel-based alloys and maintain aeronautical welding equipment.

What the Work Involves
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
