Overview
An LCAC Craft Pilot in the second position operates LCAC 100 Class vehicles during amphibious assault and training operations to and from LHAs, LHDs, LPDs, and LSDs and across surf and beach interfaces. This pilot applies amphibious assault tactics, navigation, rules of the road, and radio and visual communication procedures while supervising the crew through all phases of craft operation.
