Overview

An aviation electrician's mate maintains aircraft electrical and instrument systems, including power generation and distribution equipment, batteries, and lighting. The sailor also maintains electrical controls, indicating and warning systems, automatic flight controls, navigation and attitude reference systems, and environmental controls.
