Overview

An Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Maintenance Technician performs upkeep and corrective maintenance on C-13 MOD 1 and MOD 2 catapults, MK-7 MOD 3 and MOD 4 arresting gear, and associated equipment. The technician analyzes problems, removes and replaces components, makes adjustments, and tests the equipment.
