Description

LHA/LHD Hangar Deck Aircraft Directors direct the safe movement, parking, staging, and servicing of embarked aircraft inside amphibious assault ship hangar decks. They coordinate maintenance and handling crews, manage confined-space hazards, and maintain orderly aircraft flow between the hangar deck, elevators, and flight deck.
