Overview

A P-8A Acoustic Systems Specialist Aircrewman detects, analyzes, classifies, and tracks surface and subsurface contacts. The aircrewman operates advanced sonar using sonobuoys and electro-optical and infrared systems, handles ordnance, and inspects acoustic station mission equipment.
