Commercial Pilots
C-130 in-flight engineering duties and aircraft systems knowledge provide a foundation for the systems checks and in-flight monitoring performed by commercial pilots.
How to prepare: Arrange a civilian flight-school assessment to build a pilot-training plan and identify any documented flight time creditable toward pilot certification. Commercial-pilot certification requires qualifying pilot flight experience, applicable ratings, and medical eligibility; flight-engineer experience is not itself evidence of qualifying pilot time.
