IC Interior Communications Electrician
Overview
Interior Communications Electricians configure and maintain shipboard alarm, warning, communications, navigation, entertainment, monitoring, environmental, and visual landing aid systems. They administer networks, interpret blueprints and interface diagrams, analyze equipment casualties, and direct repairs to electrical, electronic, fiber optic, electrohydraulic, electromechanical, and synchro and servo systems.
