ITR Information Systems Technician Communications
Overview
An Information Systems Technician Communications operator maintains submarine equipment used for communications, cryptographic operations, communications security, and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence systems. The technician troubleshoots and repairs equipment, generates and accounts for Naval messages, manages radio room network equipment, and safeguards communications security materials and systems.

What the Work Involves
