Overview
A Search and Rescue Medical Technician performs aircrew and Advanced Life Support enroute care for combat search and rescue, personnel recovery, tactical evacuation, and air ambulance operations. The technician treats routine illnesses and emergencies during in-flight, ship-to-ship, and ship-to-shore movement, administers approved protocol medications, uses emergency medical equipment and rescue and recovery devices, and applies patient handling and aeromedical movement techniques.
