Overview

Sonar Technicians Surface operate surface sonar and oceanographic systems while searching, tracking, analyzing, and interpreting data on surface and subsurface contacts. They operate underwater fire control systems, support surface warfare, conduct ordnance evolutions, and maintain sonar and auxiliary equipment.
