Overview

An AN/SQQ-89(V)3/5 Active Sonar Level II technician and operator maintains and operates the AN/SQS-53B Sonar System, AN/UQN-4A/10 sonar sounding set, and AN/WQC-2/2A sonar communications set. The technician identifies acoustic signatures to their sources and operates the AN/SQQ-28(V), AN/SQR-19(V), AN/UYQ-25A(V)2 or AN/UYQ-25B, and AN/SQS-53B subsystems.
